This special episode gives exclusive access to an archaeological dig near the Chapel, led by HRP Assistant Buildings Curator Alf Hawkins. Never before has there been an excavation like this at the Tower, with incredible discoveries adding to its ever-growing history and mystery. In this Tower first, we follow the findings from the moment two skeletons are discovered, through to their scientific examination and respectful reinternment in the chapel of ST Pete ad Vincula, the Tower’s parish church.
