Fargo – 8 October 2020 – 8/10/2020 – Thursday – SBS

In 1950 Jim Crow Missouri, an uneasy peace between two Kansas City crime syndicates is threatened by an untimely death. The irrepressible nurse, Oraetta Mayflower (Jessie Buckley), attends to a dying patient. Loy Cannon (Chris Rock) trades safety for power. The Smutny family’s financial woes force them into making a dangerous deal.

The Smutnys receive unexpected guests, Gaetano (Salvatore Esposito) arrives in Kansas City from the old country, Josto (Jason Schwartzman) adjust to his new role, and Oraetta (Jessie Buckley) is caught red-handed during her routine ministrations. Meanwhile, Detective Odis Weff (Jack Huston) investigates a hospital shooting, and Loy (Chris Rock) conducts a test that challenges the status quo.
